Yes that’s right. We’ve just seen a competition for an ‘AUTOMATIC OFF GRID SUPER LUX VW T6 CAMPERVAN + £1000’ at only £5.95 per ticket, with an early bird discount of 2 tickets for £10! Or 10 tickets for £40. In this competition there are a total of 18995 tickets available and it looks like there are no maximum tickets per person limits on this competition, so you can buy as many tickets as you like. Know your limits – there’s no fun in entering a competition you can’t afford.
So here’s some key facts for you about this van and this competition:
This isn’t a scam. People often think they are. We can say that with confidence – we’ve been lucky enough to win a few of these competitions as some of you reading this will know already. Check us out below with our campervan Sully that we won in a similar competition earlier in 2023.
The odds of winning this competition are way better than winning than the lottery. A campervan can be life changing. Not everybody needs £15million to improve their lives.
This van has been hand built by Brown Bird and Co. We can speak from first-hand experience (we own a Brown Bird and Co van very similar to this) that the build quality and quality of materials is exceptional and you’re entering a competition for a van that’s been built with love, care, attention to detail and is really well thought out and every inch of space has been used and considered.
The van looks like a highline spec – note the foglights, this will probably mean some great creature comforts inside the cab – I’m not 100% sure but suspect it will have air con, cruise control too – these things make all the difference for those long drive and adventures. It has an automatic gearbox, or as Volkswagen call it a ‘DSG’ – stands for Direkt-Schalt Getriebe – ‘Direct-Shift Gearbox’ in English and that means no gear changes and your left foot and leg can relax on those long journeys.

What could you do with the van?

Sell it – we know that BB & Co conversions for this size of van cost around £22k + VAT according to their website and that excludes the cost of the vehicle. I’d ballpark the base panel van at around £17-20k with the spec and mileage – could be more. There aren’t many bare panel vans that are highline spec, DSG auto box and Long Wheel Base like the one that’s been converted here. Take a look for yourself on Auto Trader we think you’re looking at around £40-£45k in terms of value for this van.
Rent it out – based on some information available from Quirky Campers it’s possible to get around £7-10k per year yield on a van like this and that’s exactly what we’ve done with our Brown Bird & Co van (Sully). Our recommendation:
Well, you’ve got to be in it to win it as they say. It’s a no-brainer for us. Buy the tickets and for as little as a fiver you could have a £40k+ campervan on your drive by the end of January. Whichever way you look at it that is absolutely life-changing and could give you and your family options you simply did not have before.
