2/3 Berth Self Build Camper Van Conversion

Suitable for 2 adults and a child or 2 adults and maybe a dog!

A large super king size bed – 5ft 6in wide, 6ft 2in long. Big enough for 2 adults and one young child. Sleep well before and after your adventures

Huge under bed garage area – for kit, paddleboards, climbing and camping gear, accessible via matte black tambour door.

Swivel double passenger seat and folding leaf table – plan and debrief after adventures.

Chinese diesel heater (off-grid) & plugin portable 700-watt heater (for electric hook up) get warm and dry after cold adventures.

Insulated, sound deadened and soundproofed – get a great nights sleep, stay warm and dry.

Four Michelin Agilis Cross Climate Road, Snow and Mud Tyres – less chances of getting stuck during adventures.  Plus they also look badass.

Power cameras, phones & drones with the electrics bundle. 220 Ah (2 x 110 Ah) leisure batteries, Voltage Sensitive Relay. 2kw inverter. Electric hook up. 2 x 13amp sockets with 2 x built-in USB sockets. Noco Genius 5 Smart Charger and Battery Terminal Adapters, Switch Panel with 12v socket, 2 x USB charging sockets.  6 dimmable warm white ceiling lights, 2 x dimmable warm white reading lamps in black with built-in USB chargers. Camperlight 10 metre USB dimmable fairy lights for indoor and outdoor use. Bring on your cosy vibes!

45ltr 12v/230v electric cool box – keep your drinks, food and beers cold.

Thetford 365 Porta Potti – Go for a pee, anywhere.  (No number two’s in the portaloo though – our van, our rules!)

Cold water setup – 30cm stainless steel sink with fresh and grey water containers. Rechargeable powerful Colapz portable shower/water tap unit.

Folding tables – cooking inside a van sucks – fold out one of the built-in tables and make that morning coffee – bosh!

Tongue and groove ceiling – looking at a metal van roof sucks – too much tongue and groove feels like you’re in a sauna – just enough is cool and it looks and smells great too, you’re welcome.

Twin Sliding Doors with 82% Privacy glass windows on both sides. Opener on drivers/offside. Privacy curtains on each window, cab curtain, internal thermal blinds for the cab area and external windscreen cover – see as much or as little of the beautiful scenery or wilderness you’re parked up in.

Reversing Camera – avoid reversing into wild animals or other vans on your adventures.

Fire extinguisher & carbon monoxide detector – safety first obviously!

Ford Transit 2008 Mk7 2.2 litre diesel – last full-service July 2021

Full service history – yes that’s right 12 service history stamps dating back to 14,000 miles in 2009 right through to the present day.  11 of those stamps were done at a Ford specialist.
